This year the Tamlyns team exhibited the 173rd Dunster show on Friday the 16th of August. Despite the bad weather, the team pulled on their wellington boots and headed down to the premier agricultural show in West Somerset.
Taking place on the Lawns below Dunster Castle the dramatic backdrop is a perfect setting for a family day out with Bands, Demonstrations, Crafts and Trade Stands providing quality entertainment for all.
The Show also boasts a competitive showing atmosphere with a wide range of classes for Horses, Cattle and Sheep attracting competitors from all over the country.
The same weekend, some other members of the Tamlyns team exhibited at the Mid-Somerset show, a traditional one-day agricultural show annually on the 3rd Sunday in August. It is held on the edge of the town of Shepton Mallet which attracts over 2500 exhibitors and 17,000 visitors from the surrounding area.
These events are a great way for the team to meet our customers and people in the local area. There was a great turnout across the two days and a great effort from the team attending and arranging the shows.
